World-class race machines, stunning city runabouts, innovative e-bikes and a complete range of parts and accessories from the world’s favourite bike brands were among the highlights of the Raleigh 2014 Product Launch held between 21st – 23rd July 2013.
Hundreds of dealers and industry reporters attended the show at the National Motorcycle Museum, near Birmingham, making for a bustling and exciting event marking the unveiling of Raleigh’s expanded and improved bikes and parts and accessories ranges.
Of particular interest were Raleigh’s new top of the range road bikes such as the red Militis Team bike with SRAM Red 22 (pictured below), Revenio Carbon 4 with Shimano Di2 (pictured below), Aura Team time trial bike and RX Team Cross bikes.
Geoff Giddings, Raleigh Marketing Director said: “What a fantastic way to launch our 2014 ranges – and at the perfect venue, the home of two-wheeled speed.
“This was our opportunity to show our customers that we are the brand who can do it all – from our expanded ranges of premium quality road bikes, to reliable runabouts for all budgets and top quality kids’ bikes, the feedback from dealers has been phenomenal.

For many dealers and reporters, this was the first opportunity to see Raleigh’s new cyclocross and time trials bikes, plus the fantastic limited edition Beano Chopper featuring Dennis the Menace and friends!
Also on show were new mountain and BMX bikes from Diamondback and new electric, mountain and road bikes from Haibike.
Raleigh used the event to boost its reputation to be the distributor of the UK’s best bike parts and accessories range.
Among the new products unveiled were new products from XLC including performance shoes and turbo trainers, innovative in-store displays from Clarks, Slime and Squire, winter clothing collectives from Dare 2b and Lusso and eco-friendly and performance saddles by Selle Royal.
Dealers visiting the show were told about Raleigh’s vision for 2014 and beyond and also about the latest in-store support programmes including Raleigh TV, our ground breaking interactive touch-screen catalogue and video player.
This event marked Raleigh’s switch to summer product launches which falls in line with industry expectations and will help build demand from consumers during the peak selling periods of the year.
And the move met the approval of the media with the launch event receiving excellent coverage from the likes of Road Cycling UK, Road CC, Bike Radar and Bike Biz.
